Welcome to Apostolic Word of God Church in Upper Marlboro, Maryland! We invite you to worship with us as we lift the Name of Jesus and dive deep into the truth of God’s Word.

Our heart is to help new and growing believers develop a balanced, Spirit-led, and well-rounded walk with Christ. At AWOGC, every service is designed to be interactive and engaging — where you’re encouraged not just to listen, but to participate, ask questions, and grow together in community.

This ministry is built on the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, with Jesus Christ Himself as the Chief Cornerstone. (Ephesians 2:20)

Join us every Sunday as we gather in God’s presence for powerful worship, prophetic flow, and a life-changing Word. It’s a time of refreshing, healing, and equipping as we exalt the name of Jesus together.
 

Wednesday Bible Study

We provide Bible Study for all ages. Everyone is welcome to attend. We study various topics including how to become a disciple of Christ.
Midweek manna for your spirit. Our Wednesday Bible Study dives deep into the Word of God with practical, Spirit-led teaching that strengthens faith and stirs hearts for righteous living in these times.
 

Thursday Prayer Meeting

Join us every Thursday from 8 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for a time of fervent, Spirit-filled intercession where we stand in the gap for our families, our city, and our nation. Every Thursday, we gather to seek the face of God, break strongholds, and declare His promises over every situation.
